Josa Ensemble, the core of musicians that back up each of JOSA's featured jazz performers. Leader of the group and founder of JOSA is Bill Wightman at the piano who is joined by John Hunter on bass, Tim Gilmore on the drums and Richard Gardzina on multiple saxes and flutes.
From time to time other top notch musicians are asked to fill in for John, Tim or Richard when they aren't available. In addition, regular sit-ins can include the likes of Jeff Hoyt on trumpet, Chuck Ober on trombone, Dennis Willmot on guitar, and others. Musicians are encouraged and welcome to contact Bill Wightman to let him know they might like to sit-in.
